They are suppose to be at 150, it's almost tripled the max, obviously is to high, but realistically, how high it should be, for me to be afraid of having a heart attack....

I would appreciate any info or input in this manner, THANKS:nopityA:

You are in the danger zone now!You need to excercise, avoid all fried foods and stay away from red meats.Stick with chicken, turkey (no skin) and fish.I also have had great success with fih oil.Good Luck!:103631605

I had a blood test a week ago... I'm trying to eat healthy, but it seems I'm running out of outs, I can't eat anything, no fried food, no butter, no red meats, no bread, you name it.... I'm eating like if I was already dead, VERY frustrating, You can't imagine

Thanks for the replies!!!

Try Vytorin and Tricor. Your trigs will be below 200 in 6 weeks. Good luck friend, Type 2 diabetes is something you definately dont want.

SAme here man, I love red meat, but it has been easy, believe it or not, right now , what is killing me is making time to exercise, will get there in time.
By the way since the start of this thread I've lost about 10 pounds:howdy:

I think you get like a 3 month trial before they give you any drugs, to see if you can change it without having to take any pills.... I think thats better than having to take pills everyday....

good job Don, keep up the good work and you will be much better off in the long run.

Brock, aren't you fairly young to have a level that high? I would be concerned if I were you and try and take care to be much healthier.

You need to be on a statin - go to a doctor and he will put you on one - this may not even be diet related (but it most likely is playing a role).
